Crafting for free
Crafting materials are not cheap. This week, I'll be providing you with links to sites that provide crafting ideas and patterns free of charge.
NOTE: Where resources are free, there is always advertising, so if you have to sign up, use an email account you set up for that purpose, to avoid filling your inbox with spam!
Sewing Patterns
If you like sewing, but don't want to shell out for custom patterns, there are a range of sites that allow you to download and print patterns for free. I've used these:
Some sites do offer both free and paid versions, so check to make sure your pattern is free!
Crochet Patterns
These are sites I've used for free crochet patterns. Be aware that terminology is different in the UK / USA, so check which pattern you're using!
Knitting Patterns
I don't do much knitting, but these are sites I've found which offer free knitting patterns.
Colouring for adults
If you enjoy colouring, you can download and print colouring pages for free from these sites:
Craft Ideas
if you like crafting, but don't really know what you want to make, you can try these sites for free designs, ideas and tutorials.
Fun Family Crafts will give you ideas to keep the kids entertained this half term.
Craft Materials
Craft materials are expensive. I tend to collect them from boot sales and charity stores, but you can also pick up free craft stuff at times on both Freecycle and Freegle. If none are currently listed, you can always post a wanted ad. (Of course, if you're bored with your craft materials, you can also get rid of them through these sites!)
Happy crafting everyone
